Since when do you design a duck by picking their looks first. New breeds happen by accident or some freak genetic change. All the other traits have already been explored by others, and the new color/look pool has been exhausted. You should produce a new breed first, then breed it for several generations before you drop the bomb of a new breed with new name. You also need to get their genes decoded, so you have proof that you indeed have a new breed. That is the normal route to go, and any reputable breeder will go that way. After that you have a market.
