The best way to open a quail egg?

Do you have a prefered method of cooking them?

you just have to be careful, my dad has not got any pieces of shell in the food yet ( well one super super tiny piece ) and I like to cook them sunny side up, put butter and cheese on a hamburger bun, then put the eggs on and eat! It is really good that way

i take a paring knife and make a quick chop at one end, just to split the shell, then poke in there to bust membrane, and peel back with knife. open
