What does Eggland's feed their chickens to be able to make the claims that they do?
"25% less saturated fat, 4 times more vitamin D, 46% more lutein, 19% less cholesterol, over 3 times more omega 3"

Does anyone know?

I think I've read that the main difference in their feed is added flax seed, but I can't be 100% sure. If they get any greens in their diet they will have less saturated fat and cholesterol plus more vitamins A, D, E, beta carotene, and folic acid.

That's why I let my girls free range!

That's nice to know. If anyone has any research articles posted I'd love to see them comparing free range and strict layer feeds and egg nutrients.
