What's the earliest before hatch to hear peeps?
I'm not sure if I'm hearing them today or if my ears are playing tricks on me.
They are due early Thurs, so late tomorrow through Friday is when I expect them to be here.
no pips yet of course, but could they be internal pipping already?
or am I just too excited??

Pips! It's day 20. I hear peeping too.
I woke up to Pips. at least 2 BCMs, 2 Barnevelders, a Mottled Java, an olive egg and the Ameraucana egg. Bummer that I have to go to work. I wont' know which was the Am and which were the olive eggs if they hatch while I'm gone.
But when I get home there will be babies for sure!

Oh Congrats!!

I woke up to chirping this morning (incubator is in my bedroom) and turns out that I have one pip as well (a mixed standard game), so now we have the wait

What a colorful collection you have, those lav orps (the one's I've seen pictures of) are gorgeous.

Yes, the lavs are just beautiful. The 2 I have are in that 4-5 week dino stage right now; so they look funny. Hopefully we will hatch them out some siblings in this hatch.

We have babies!
I came home to 4 of 5 Mottled Java hatched. They are sooooooooooo pretty! Have some deep yellow colors on them and so petite.
1 Barnevelder has hatched, 1 more pipped
1 olive egger is pipped
1 ameraucana is pipped

it's only day 20!
but I have babies
