Yes the other 2 seem good and healthy. There's also a few more eggs that should hatch soon

Good luck with the new chicks! Are they all the same breed? And are you hatching them in an incubator, or under a broody hen?

Yea it sucks. I would've never expected my favorite most chill hen to mutilate her own chick. I'm not sure I even wanna keep her anymore

I just put some eggs in from the marans, there's also 3 serama eggs that the hens were sitting on that I took away since they can't be trusted anymore.

I think one of the serama chicks is a pure chocolate, and the other might be a chocolate mottled. They are gonna be pretty when they get older

Looks like my youngest blue Ameraucana has gone broody. Kinda surprising since she's not even a year old yet, but she was raised by Yokie Jr so it makes sense I guess. I will not be letting her sit, mainly because she attacked me when I took the eggs. There was also a bunch of ants in her nest box so probably best she's not sitting in there.

The button quail have been laying a bunch of eggs lately, so I just fed a handful to the chickens. They love it and it gives them a lot of good nutrients.

I'm gonna try to move these chicks outside tomorrow. They outgrew the brooder and made a mess in there. Getting their feathers and looking really pretty though. For some reason, the wyandottes seem to be maturing slower than the other breeds. They have always been smaller and had less feathers.
