The Book On How To Understand Women

I can relate to the change of address thoughts. My mother in law who was a grand lady became witchlike during the change. I told the Princess that if she experienced the same personality change I would move into the cellar until things settled down.

I think my boyfriend understands me fairly well. He knows I love kitchen gadgets and equipment. He'll go antique shopping with me and complains that he hates it, though I just know he enjoys it. He'll cook for me sometimes and we berate the same Food Network chefs. However, sometimes I admit I don't understand him.

There might be something to that change of life thing...

I no longer hear as well as I once did....she's always saying I
don't listen to her. I'm old...I don't hear a single thing she says
these days.

The old eyesight isn't what it used to be either. I pretend I can't
see her when I need to.

So...old age has certain advantages, if I do say so.

Now it would be different if she had something important to say...
But she's just a woman. It's not like she's going to talk to me
about stuff that really matters.

I'm a 103 years old, Sourland. And I know all there is to know
about women. I am what they call "experienced".

The first rule you have to know about a woman is that they aren't
a man. They aren't like us. Follow my logic here...being a man, you'll
understand.

Men...we meet another man, we can talk to him, he's normal. Just like
a man. Now, we've seen enough womens out there to know they're
different. They think different, they act different, they look different.
Logic would then tell us that if men are accepted as "normal" and women
are different, women would therefore not be "normal". I think we can all
agree that the opposite of normal is abnormal? Therefore, women are
abnormal. No way to understand.

And that, my friends, would be a scientific explaination of the difference.
