i'm trying to satisfy my need for babies with the soon to come meat birds but it won't be the same.

Meat birds are definitely a different situation. Are you doing the processing?

Yup. With a friend at their neighbors house. We are going to order one thing of chicks then split it then split any of the birds we processed.

Fabulous! Always nice to eat your own home grown birds. Factory farmed birds are just wrong.
