Gosh, it still boggles my mind how fast they grow up! They are so precious. Thanks again for sharing them with us, Tony & Yvonne.

Oh my gosh look how they have grown. So big. I love them and all the pics and updates. Even if i don't respond each time I am following along. That's gotta be hard having to leave them for a week. I am sure Mama Dux will keep you updated and us and of course you can call every night and talk to them so they don't forget your voice.

Sorry to everyone that expexted an update from me while TD was away but I had my hands full w the 3 'lingies and trying to keep them out of trouble as they were adamant about chewing things they should't, getting into things they shouldn't, etc. The weigh-in didn't go so well either (subjects were too squirmy) and by the time the outside duck chores, brooder cleaning + duckie laundry (1-2 loads of towels + wash cloths and blanket ea night) were taken care of, it was midnight and I was ready for bed..

Today's weights and roll call

Allie: 2lbs, 6oz - in true Pekin form, she has something to say about it...


Casey: 1lb, 5oz - She is still not ready to be the "little one." She is showing off her advanced sleeping technique. (Tevye still has a hard time with this.)


Latte: 1lb, 4oz. A little color is coming in above her wing.

They are so pretty and sure have grown alot.. i bet you could really see it after being out of town..

For sure, The little ones are 2 - 3 days behind Allie, so I came home and the first thing I saw was Allie was brown, NO... That's Casey... Allie is HOLY COW! she's big

We went and had fun over Easter, hope you did too. As a result, we just did basic maintenance with the ducks and 'lings today. (Can't dote every day

.) So today I will just give you an interesting tidbit:

In 18 days the ducks have multiplied their weights by the following factors.

Allie: 24x

Latte: 16x

Casey: 15x
