The Buff Orpington Duck Thread

This is my Buff Maudine! I purchased her from Metzer Farms in January. She is a runt (only weighs 3.5lbs), and is much smaller than the standard according to Metzers website (6lbs).
She is super calm, friendly, and extremely talkative. I love her to death!

I have 2 one is normal size named Mindy Sue the other is large her name is Cyndi Lou.

Maudine is so cute! I have a female buff from Metzer too, who looks a lot like Maudine, but weighs around five lbs. And I got her in March.

They are such comical birds maybe it's because their family are Runners but my 2 Buffs are hilarious and beg oh my gosh they love cheerios and every time we walk out the front door will tell us they would like some.

My buff loves cheerios as well and she was raised with four female runners, and I'm pretty the runners craziness has rubbed off on her.

Actually maybe it's the other way around lol But your probably right. The buffs are def more vocal than the Runners. lol

lol. My buff is actually less vocal the runners. Well, I guess it goes both ways: crazy runners or crazy buffs, and after a while it spreads through the entire flock.
