Yeah, that is a good idea. So I asked my friend for two females. I did not want a male because I do not want bunnies. I just wanted bunnies as a pet and only 2 I do not want them to multiply. He said he was not sure of the sex and he could not tell until they were way older. Well I just found out it truly isn't that hard. I figured if I can vent sex a duckling/chick, I can sex a rabbit.

The only way I can tell mine apart is because Brooke (I call her Brooklyn sometimes) has silver/grey eyes

I thought with rabbits it was slightly older??

It can be between 3-6 months, younger with the smaller breeds. It's not good to breed them that young since they aren't fully developed.

I just sexed them myself. Both are female!!!! I even triple checked! So I should be fine keeping them together. I can post pics if you want me to though. No male parts came out and both look to have female parts.

I rechecked them again just to make sure that I was applying enough pressure to make the male part come out. Yep, definitely had the odds in my favor because both are girls!!!

Still might spay them. I am not sure if you have to, but I will research. I guess that is why they are getting along so well because they are the same sex. They snuggle together all the time and play with each other.

I gave them some paper towel rolls and a rabbit chew toy for now. I have to run to the store tomorrow to get some more toys. I have to look up what they like.

I wasn't going to let my mind rest until I checked again. I did that with my ducklings too. I rechecked them 3 times before I truly knew they were all female.
