Sounds like he could have allergies.

Have you brought the bunny to the vet? They could probably recommend some type of allergy medication that will help.
Huh, for some reason I never thought of that. No, I haven't brought him to the vet, and right now I'm not going to. My family may be moving soon, so it's an expense we probably don't want to pay for, and I know if he is any discomfort or pain it is minimal, because he acts totally fine and it calms down after a while. I'll research allergies and see what comes up, perhaps I could even find some answers or medicine I could buy or make myself. Dunno, since I've never had to deal with it.

Thank you for the reply!

Snuggle bunnies

yesterday I recieved my rabbit harness and leash in the mail. This morning I tested it out with the male rabbit. He had a blast, also after being free to run around he was so much calmer when I picked him up. He seems to like me now. Then I did something stupid, I gave him a hug and kissed his forehead. He is supposed to be my Emergency last resort food supply! If I run out of food I will starve to death because you can't eat an animal after you kiss him on the forehead.... relax relax relax, I have 20 CX and a few cockerels that need to be culled. The Last Resort Meal Rabbits are probably going to die of old age anyways.
I will take pictures of the female when she gets her turn. The male went on a sprint after he got comfortable and me running behind him with the leash did not spook him out at all. He wasn't running to escape me he was just having a blast. When I picked him up after the sprint he started clinging to me. Before he would fight me and scratch me if I held him close.
Unforntunately I am running behind schedule in building their large pens so they still live in cages on the carport. I have been outside working at night to keep predators away and to escape the summer heat. I also have cages under their cage so nothing can get at them from underneath where they are most vulnerable to attack from predators.

:gig Oh man, you crack me up! You're right, you can't eat something you've kissed. That's so cool that the little guy enjoyed his time out and about and awesome you did that for him.

I was all about meat rabbits until I got Brooke and Sid... they’re too cuddly and cute. They kiss me so that’s even worse to me because you cannot kill something that loves you.

I tried a meat rabbitry a few years ago and they reminded me too much of cats so I sold some and gave others away. I am one of those strange guys who is masculine but still loves cats. Lions and Tigers are cats and they are masculine lol.

Ever since i was a kid when I petted a cat I kissed it on the forehead before putting it down. Guess I do the same with Rabbits lol.

The female rabbit in my nursery, those plants are my money maker, the whole reason why I got chickens (and rabbits) in the first place. I grow these trees in compost. The Harness is a little large on the rabbits but they are still growing. She can get out of it if she wants to I found out but she didn't run away when she got out. She does not like me very much, scratched me all up but she got in some exercise before it got too hot. She hopped right into my female cat and my cat ran away from her all terrified lol. She tried to lose me in a maze of evergreens (Thuja Green Giants). When I had to chase her because I was holding the leash she seemed afraid of me and hopped faster. Running through the potted trees gave her the illusion that she had lost me.

Rabbit poop is great for plants. Mine have be thriving and growing like crazy when I add it to my plants.

Its actually the best manure to use because no composting is needed. Its why I tried a meat rabbitry. I couldn't justify having rabbits just for manure because a $15 bag of feed produces about $5 worth of Manure. I needed an actual product from the rabbits to justify having them. When I saw Rex Rabbits for sale near me I impulse bought them.
