I read the Penderwicks awhile ago, I didn't realized they were a series! I've never read The Mystery Series but I looked it up and its placed in a time period I enjoy reading about.

Both series are awesome! I hope you read them because I think you'll like them!
They are almost so real when I read it I feel like I'm in the book!

That's one of my favorite things about reading. I feel like I part of another world along with the one I'm leaving in, I also feel like I know the characters and boy am I sad when the book is over!

Hmm, so hard trying to decide what books series I want to re-read next. I can hardly wait for June because I go to a Homeschool conference and they have soooo many book vendors !

Shakespeare? There is a reason he was the best ever. Was told years
ago that Shakespeare was not to be read, but was for lungs and tongues.
Great stage plays.

But reads well aloud also.

Some good read-alouds for the family are Cheaper by the Dozen, Belles on their Toes, and Room for one More. They can make even the most rambunctious kid sit down and listen.
