It's too bad that you feel that way promiseland but I'm starting to feel the same way too. I've been getting my trades out as fast as I can (and going BROKE on postage) but I have only recieved a few of the eggs that I'm supposed to be getting. Heck, I didn't even get my May swap. I understand that our birds stop laying, etc.

I don't have a problem sending out my eggs and I LOVE to hear how they hatch

I don't think we should change the shipping cost just because it may cause hard feelings from those who have already sent eggs out and payed. If you change the rules in that big of way, you should start a new swap.

I started off on the other poultry swap because no one else would and if you think about it, I OFFERED the eggs but did not TRADE with anyone. That means that I ate the cost of the eggs and postage. Everyone else who started the chains did the same thing.

I hope we get this straightened out soon

Folks need to remember.

You're GETTING eggs and SENDING eggs. Its SO much easier if you pay the shipping on the ones you're sending out - than to send money to someone else to send you eggs... just think about it a second.

Those that are getting in too far, please get a NOTEBOOK, and write down all your expected eggs, and those that are expected of you. Expect at least $10 for mailing out a batch of eggs.

I have swaps on this and the plant one. I honestly am trying to get mine out as fast as I can. Weds, my friend had a bad car wreck. She totalled her car, and the person in the other car died instantly. My friend has needed my husband and I to help get her and her son to Drs and whatever, as she has nobody else. Her son is 33 yrs and has the mind of a 6 month old. We physically had to pick him up and set him in the car to go to the Drs today. I am sorry that I did not get my eggs out yet, and I know I still owe several people. But this is not being done on purpose. And I am still trying to get my Buffs all penned back up, but haven't even had a chance to start putting up the wire.

I am sorry, and please be a little patient with me. I do still intend to get all my swaps sent.
