My guineas are still laying, but temps while waiting in Postal trucks could get too high and effect hatchability, so I think its best to hold off till COOLER

weather, I guess I will have to seperate my Buckeyes and Campines, or I will have to go to the Mutt thread. Then again, I may just wait till Spring so I dont have to have babies over the winter.

My turkey and guineas are still laying, however since they are out free ranging some are laying eggs in the hay barn, calving barn, and no telling where else.

I hate to see the eggs go to waste but I think it's too hot to ship. I already have more chicks, keets, and poults than I know what to do with so no more hatching for me until fall or spring.

Happy trading everyone. Hope to be able to trade again in the fall.

I have blue orps. However, I am backed up till September cause she is sitting on eggs. I have another one, but her eggs are reserved thru October. My third one hasn't started laying yet, so that could be a few months. My 4th blue orp accidentally got knocked up by a real evil naked neck roo. Those eggs are available now, however those eggs have been running 6 males to every female hatched. So I can trade, but my eggs won't ship out till possibly late November.

my seramas are laying great and my bators full....but I cannot have any more ducks...... in fact I do not need anything at the moment. 5 of my hens came from Frank (ae50mag) and more from Luannkeller. The silkied pair is not laying at the moment. COuld I offer my eggs now and get something later? would that work? or would that mess it up terribly? I could offer them as a side deal. I got home late tonight so I didn't gather them tonight.I just set the bator last night. I have a pen of mottled blacks setup that have a lot of mottling ( almost an exchequer pattern) but I am told that is not really the right patten name. it is like they have a few white feathers on mostly black birds. Not a white spot on each feather. A pen of Columbian pattern that is down to a pair ( the others sitting) and a mixed group I am trying to sort out still into groups by color.

All my breeds are running together for the summer so only mutt eggs now. I just finished hatching my last batch of chicken eggs and this weekend I hopefully will be hatching my last batch of turkeys and guineas.
