The BYC Easter Story! (a version of "Continue The Story")

Once upon a time there was a white Silkie chicken. The Silkie's name was Sugar, and her favorite holiday was, of course, Easter! Why? Because it meant that Spring had arrived, and she could hatch our a clutch of her own baby chicks! And she could lay eggs for the humans so they could decorate them and hide them. She didn't understand why they did this, but it did look like fun to them. But it didn't look like it would be that fun for a Silkie hen. She was thinking more about sitting on her eggs, rather than running around searching for them.

On the day before Easter, Sugar decided to..................

What we're going to do is continue this story until Monday, after Easter, and by the end we should have a funny BYC Easter Story for this year!

Anyone can add on whatever they like, as long as it makes sense and you can write as much as you want, as long as you start off from where the person above you stopped, obviously.

She decided to hide her egg for that day and not go back to the coop that night......

Because she wanted to stay out and see if she could catch the so-called "Easter Bunny" that the humans talk about! She heard that he steals her eggs and then hides them for the humans. This made her a little irritated because no one steals and hides her eggs without her permission! So maybe if she stayed out all night she would catch him. So, when it was dark out, Sugar sneaked out of the coop (the rooster was sleeping) and..............

......and stood waiting near the coop, watching for any signs of the suspicious Easter Bunny. No way he was going to get passed her to steal her eggs this year!
Fluffy waited..........and waited.............and waited.......Until finally she heard a startling cracking sound coming from the bushes nearby! She squinted in an effort to see what it was, but it was hard to see anything in the darkness. Then a thought occurred to her; what if it was a predator, like a fox or a bobcat or even a bear?!?! She frantically started running back to her coop door, but suddenly...........

back to her coop door, but suddenly........... and slammed right into the coops closed and fastened door! The henhouse had been closed up tight for the night. So now she was alone....and vulnerable...to what ever it was that lurked in the darkness.

So there was only one thing left that she could do now....

she put on her fox costume that she had hidden in the bushes April 1st that resulted in a less than appreciated April Fool's prank.....

It turned out to be a boy fox looking for love, he grabbed her and petted her head. "Oh, my sweet." he said, and he carried her off to...

...he carried her off to his den in the woods. Fluffy tried to remain calm and not look suspicious of anything, but inside she was in a panic and felt like flapping her wings and cackling and running back to the coop as fast as she could. But she was too petrified with fear.
