So do I! It helps me spell things sometimes.
Sometimes it's ridiculously annoying, though. I like the name Kodiak, but my brain doesn't like it; I see royal purple and golden yellow when I think of that word/island, and to me that's not a good color combination.
For me the main colors are green, gold, and white. K is bright green, O is a non-color similar to black, D is photo brown, I is white, A is golden, and K is once again green. I find that in most words, certain letter colors tend to overpower the rest. For example, red is mostly yellow. The R is dark red, the E is bright yellow, and the D is once again brown, but the E overpowers the other two.
The word Kodiak is dark blue to me.
