I follow that thread and saw your post, just didn't want to hijack it with NN talk (had to restrain myself). But yes, I thought that was a lovely bird - has that orange and white aloha look. Remind me again - what was the non-CL parent?

Yeah that is a nice pattern. She also has blue... now that's an interesting idea, using it to reduce or get rid of the black(I don;t like the mille fleur pattern very much) I wonder if a splash mottle would make some spots appear larger by turning the black bar into white..?
are they saying she's a hybrid or just posting pic of her in that thread for other reasons?
I have to go over there and retread to find out.
She is a cross of something and Cream Legbar.
I corrected the photo credit in my post #141.
Said that she was by a Gold Duckwing EE out of a Cream Legbar hen.
Hum, can't see how that is possible... first, this bird is mottled. Mottling is recessive(CL do not have mottling at all). Second, she has a gene called Columbian which prevents duckwing pattern from showing on the bird. CL do not have this..
possible third thing is if the roo was not blue..... she definitely has blue. CL do not have blue.
maybe second generation, but still the problem of columbian and blue.
