The case of the missing dentures

Hope your chompers are intact and found soon! T-day isn't gonna be a lot of fun without 'em. Good hunting...

I hope that you find them soon. I also were an upper denture and lower partial. If I were to loose them I would never leave my house again untill I got more. It would be too embarassing for me much less to go to work like that. Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad to know I am not the only one who does that.

I used to do it a lot as a teenager when I'd stay up really late reading & the next morning I was soooo sleepy that I'd catch myself putting the milk into a cabinet instead of the fridge.

How about putting your cup of tea in the frig instead of the microwave to heat it up.......

and never hearing the ding telling you that it's ready?

I have put a chicken sandwich in the fridge and the bottle of soda into the cupboard, Ih ave poured dog food into a bowl for my son for breakfast, I have put my mom's ensure in my coffee instead of creamer, and the list goes on. Think I may be distracted at times?

True story, told to me by a client from Holland....

Her grandmother raised a crow from a fledgling that fell from a nest, and for many years it came to visit daily and would fly into the open windows for a cuddle and a snack. She lived in a nicer neighborhood, where it was common for the maids to live in the hot attic rooms, and so they would leave windows open in the days before screens were common.

One day, the phone rang, and a neigbor said, with a heavy lisp, "Excuth me, Mithter ____, but it theems that your crow hath taken my teeth and hath plathed them on your roof." Along with demands for their immediate return or replacement, which would be almost impossible in post-WWII Holland.

So grandfather went up on the roof in thpite....I mean in spite....of his extreme fear of heights. There in the gutter were the dentures, along with many, many shiny objects such as earrings stolen from the maid's bureaus!

Hope you find your teeth! Be on the lookout for crows!

If I had $5 for every time a dog had eaten a denture or a retainer, I might be wealthy. Actually, its part of the reason I've made more $$.

Look in the fridge, look in the medicine cabinet... those are two common places.

Look in all of your pockets of your aprons, housecoat etc...

I redid a denture on a guy last year. The day I finished the new denture and sent him home with it, he found the old ones... wrapped in paper towel under his car seat of all places.

Look under the sofa cushions. GO THROUGH THE GARBAGE.

And unfortunately, keep checking the dog's poop.
