The cat ate my chick's feed

When feeding the flock I left the bag open behind me. When I turned around one of the cats had his head in the bag chowing down. He wouldn’t stop eating until I got within arms length. I don’t know what he was thinking. He obviously didn’t read the ingredients list. Must have looked at the picture of the chick on the bag and figured that was what was in the bag. I haven’t tasted the feed myself but it must taste pretty good since he went in the garage and tried to open that bag.

My cats love the laying feed but the dogs love the mash?? I'm constantly chasing them away.

I'm glad mine isn't the only one. He wouldn't eat any veggies otherwise. I think it's just because he not supposed to.

My chihuahua (AKA tiny Mexican pain) Is a bird seed fanatic...It even shows up an hour or so later because she can't digest it...

I've got the opposite problem!

My chickens like my cat food, and my cats are too scared of the birds to do anything about it.
