THE CHEEPS ALMOST GOT ME!!!

Pics
Thanks you guys! Thanks also for being such a bad example on me. I probably should've listened to @chickenmeadow. ;)
There’s no fun in that!!! The only thing that’s stopped me up to this point is that we’re on our anniversary trip and I wouldn’t be home for 5 days... chicks need daily attention! When I get back... I might be in need of an intervention.

Beautiful chickens- I love naming new chicks. I got a couple of mottled Orpingtons last year and named one Missy- she was white with black speckles- and the other was the big one. I thought I would be logical and name her Big Mo- (the big mottled orpington). Well, as she grew, her name just seemed to change to Maureen. don't know how it happened.

Don't listen to me, I used to have 90 chickens & was planning to get rich off of their eggs, didn't pan out cause (being a city slicker way back then) the cheap & free chickens didn't lay as well as in my dream. Great learning experience & lots of fun. Now, my flock is 12 + 5 new chickies. Oh....but....wait.....I'm already dreaming of adding Swedish Flower Hens next year. Then I'll be the one who needs intervention. But really... have loads of fun with your growing group. Best wishes.

We wanted all musically influenced names.
Great names. My chicken names are more mundane. I have Missy and Maureen both Mottled Orpingtons, Pearl, a Lavender Orpington, Flora, a Splash Marans (see avatar), Alice my Welsummer. I recently traded off Daisy my GLW and Alberta my Buff Orpington. I am getting a replacement Buff Orpington and a Buff Brahma next week. I wanted to keep the number down to 6, but you know, chicken math and all. I may keep one of the Speckled Sussex chicks (used to have one named Dot)

I love your names! I feel like they are fitting to the breed of chicken! Love your Flora! She looks like my Stevie who is also a splash Marans.
