I'm not so sure, I have some pretty tough hens in my flock! buff os are docile I was led to believe.

In my friends flock, her BO is the head hen.

My flock,18 birds, "Beetov-Hen", the brown leghorn, is top hen, and she knows it too!
SHE, only answers to me, not even the roosters!

They are big, but ya never know. I've had brahmas that tower over everybody that are at the bottom. I used to tell them, "You guys are huge... You can take her." but they never listened.

My EE bantam is pretty high on the order and she’s the smallest. She has a “rooster” like walk. Lol.
