The Chicken Breast Bump

I have 2 silkies and 4 RIR. Both silkies are 7 weeks old (per the guy I bought them from). The RIR's are also 7 weeks old. One of the silkies (Thema) is larger than my other silkie (Louise). I have seen Thema poke her breast out and bump the other RIR's. (Louise is to small to do that to I guess). Anyway I guess my question is why does Thema (not sure if it is a she or he yet) do this. It's so funny to watch her do this.

Any clues would be appreciated.

Forgot to add that I got my babies when they were 4 weeks old (per the guy I bought them from) so they are 7 weeks old now.

All birds chest bump, pullets and cockerels. It's play fighting like all young animals do.

All young chickens chest bump each other it's their way of determining the pecking order. If you're wondering about the gender you can post some pictures

It's hard to get a picture or video at the right time. They are just so funny when they do that & it's mostly the bigger silkie that does it. It just cracks me up.

The larger one looks like a cockerel as of now, but is too young to know for sure

I'm hoping he/she is lol. I plan on getting a young rooster when they are 6 months old but i wont have to if she is a he!!!
