RAWWWWRRRR I can't stand Russell. My DH's name is Russell. When we watch Survivor together, my DH gets his name hissed.
So...I'm pretty sure those are mutt chickens.

wow, i know they have to eat, but that was very wrong. I haven't really watched survivor this episode but I can say just from watching the video, I don't like that guy.

chicky tocks, I hate him too!!!!!! I do like Parvati though, I hope she works him over good later HE HE HE!!! My husband hasn't watched the show since he managed to get rid of Boston Rob. You'll really hate him after you watch the clip!

They do look alot like the pictures of the American Game Chickens on the breed list....one looked like some or all of the skin on it's head was black? And it's comb looked squashed, fat and bumpy not like a regular standing up comb, what would that be?

I used to hate Russell but he's so good at being a troll that I enjoy watching him.

Those are definitely not wild chickens. I would also guess mutts from some nearby place. They wouldn't be so close to strange people and so easy to catch if they were wiley wild feral birds. I have some chicks who are harder to catch in the yard than those.

I also felt they were too tame to be wild chickens. Too used to people feeding them, they were hanging around in scratch-throwing range.

We figured the producers released a set of local mutt chickens near each camp, just to give the cast something to do to add to the drama.

My kids named one of the new chicks SURVIVOR. I said the next mean little compensating rooster who is destined for the stewpot we get is going to be named RUSSEL. After two season back to back, that man has been on "the island" too long.

They were able to catch the chickens fairly easily, so I suspect they were tame, not feral.


We watch Survivor every week - and we absolutely positively cannot stand Russel and cannot wait for next week when they merge! The previews showed Sandra (Sandy?) talking to Rupert and telling him to NOT believe Russel if he's saying there's an all girls alliance!

I am really REALLY mad at the Heroes, though, for their dumb stunt last night - Russel is such a creep! he has them convinced he's the only outsider on the Villians side and the Heroes are buying it.

Can't wait for next week.

Also, the heroes are working better together than the villians are - heroes have shelter, food, and a commraderie....Villians are starving, don't work well together, and are too busy trying to one up the other.
