We finally put the chicks in their new coop last night, I think they loved it!! All that space.

They even tried their new perch, although one of them kept flying up on it an missing the bar. LMAO

And here is a short video of them:

How old are they? I have three 5 1/2 week old chicks and am wondering when I can leave them out 24/7. Right now it is just during the day. Any advice?

They are 5 weeks old. I did leave a light in the coop last night since it was the first night. But the light is turned off during the day. At 5.5 weeks old, I believe (from what I've read here) that they should be fine out in their coop 24/7.

I figured wen they got to big for there brooder (which is getting really close) I would buy another light and leave them out there. I just wanted to make sure that wasn't too soon. I'm probably just paranoid, but I will wait until they are 6 weeks and then I will try that. Although, I am trying to hatch some of my ducks eggs so I will have to move them pretty soon. Thx :D
