Went out this morning and saw our first baby chick walked in front of it's mama! The our hen ("Nugget") raised up and it looked like more wore hatching. Unfortunately now, she won't let me see any of the others or the first one. So I'm leaving her alone for a while.
So...now what? I put a chick water feeder in the oversized nest box and some chick feed. Should I just leave them alone? when should I move them to a larger space? Do I need to remove the cracked shells or will Nugget take care of it? So many questions....
