The city has come.

I'm in a pickle here. So if I wasn't me. I would contact to start with the ACLU. IF IM NOT ME GIVING YOU ADVICE. I WOULD CALL A zoning lawyer making sure it was not within your city or county limits. Drive around and take a photo of every house that has farm animals and take a photo of the house, make sure you get address in photo take photos of all the animals. Then move to the next. Get restraining order against Satan BEFORE THINGS ESCALATE FURTHER AND YOU FIND YOURSELF IN MORE TROUBLE!! YOU UNFORTUNATELY NEED TO BE PROACTIVE !!!! Also I would contact your local newspaper.

I'd say you'd would have to know the lot size of the neighbors who have animals. Perhaps they all have 0.574 acre and above lots that comply with 25,000 sqft ordinance. With 1/2 an acre you're only at 21,780 sqft. That really does make a difference. The town clerk's office will have lots and sizes on file for public view. Take an hour to look through the public record and then you'd know if anyone else is also noncompliance to the animal ordinance. You could be the only one.

This info, lot sizes, is available online through appraisal districts.

Perhaps a restraining order would be something to consider once this is settled.[/QUOte

They don't. And even if they did, they have too many for the size of lot.

I know for a fact the duplex doesn't have that size lot. It's TINY, the house is giant but the yard is not. That backyard must be a 3rd of ours or less. The ones next to us may technically have the lot size but there are rules also about the space the animals actually HAVE, and they don't follow that at all. The random house one street over is a lot smaller than ours and they have chickens too and there are bees one street over (you also can't have bees) on a lot no larger than ours.

Okay so get this.

We were taking pics and the reporting neighbor's goats were conspicuously absent.

Where are the neglected goats? We took pics of the sign with a goat on it. Took pics of the chickens. And then while walking the dog I found the goats. They reported us, then gave their goats to a different neighbor. But, Mr Big Jerk was feeding them and we got him on video doing so. He sees he's being recorded and acts like a prat.

We also recorded all the sheep and chickens across from us.
