Our landlord hates chickens. He said if we get a flock he'll evict us. Stupid people. He got mad when we parked out trailer in front of our house for 2 days!! But I'm thinking, I can still hatch baby chickens and sell them around here. There is a need of baby chicks and he will let me have an incubator in the house. Plus, our neighbors went back to hating us so they wouldn't let us have chickens in a million years. (Whew! Feels good to get that rant out lol)

How is everybody else doing?

Sorry to hear that! I know how you feel! :)

I'm ok,
my internal layer seems better and all of my other hens are good.

We think he is afraid of the HOA getting mad at him. They got mad at me and took my pet sitting flyers down from the mailboxes. If I could get the HOA to allow chickens, then maybe I could get some!

Thanks! @TheLukeMeister
I've been trying for a year and a half to get chickens. From being nice to my neighbors to doing countless hours of research on chickens in our area, I was about to give up. I might see if I can get a flock at my aunts house, but the dog that killed my chickens and her chickens is still here, wreaking havoc. Again crazy people wont fix the fence to prevent livestock deaths. It is legal 'round here to kill a dog if its on your property, but we don't want to be that drastic. Enough on my rant/problems lol.

Have any of you incubated eggs before?
I'm thinking I might hatch quail eggs. The HOA cant do anything about quail as there are countless of cute little quail flocks that live in backyards in our area.

I haven't hatched anything yet. This would be my first time. I got a Brinsea incubator last year as a present. It was used but in VERY good condition.

Is it harder to hatch quail than chickens?
