The first tank used in combat in WWI had steel armor that ranged from about 20mm to 6mm, and its top speed was only about 4 or 5KPH

yes, a machine that had an engine that was stronger than most vehicles had at the time (it was possible for cars to go around 60-70MPH at the time, which is twice as fast as some horses
