~The Council Of Youngers of BYC! (COY)~

Don't use your labour to smash Gerbil's head; there are other things it could be used to squash. Like capital. ;P
Plus, what is the mighty Ooj without a head? Just oj, I guess. Which isn't as funny looking.

I am back at my free wifi spot, doing the walk again. I set off an hour later than last time and:
- I got too warm and had the urge to remove my coat at exactly the same house
- I got the thought that I should take a look around at the pretty trees instead of just walking by while passing the exact same house, looking up and catching sight of the exact same tree.
- The same song was on radio as I walked down that street (and it's not a pop station).
- My mother just called me about five minutes after I sat down here, same as last time.

lol...

I was just reading through old posts here. It looks like most of you were in your teenage/preteen years when starting BYC, and many are now in late high school or early college years.

Pretty much, yeah. :p
We all growed up on here!

Now that I think about it, that's true and hilarous. :lau I was 12 when I joined BYC. (This is not my original account. I am not a university student at age 15. :p) I was the weird, annoying billy-no-mates in school (at least up until the final two years, when people suddenly started finding nice things to say about me and I found pals to watch Hetalia, gamble, talk about the economy and draw pictures of Russia on the common room board with. I was like, lolwut) so my time on BYC ended up teaching me a lesson or two about life, friendship, communication and how to type coherent, persuasive and rational sounding arguments.
...Plus, when you're me, you like looking at things like badges, ovations and accumulated post count on a regular basis because it makes you think you're cooler than you probably are. :p

^ Edited for typos. I've made three posts in a row and there were typos in all of them. I'm writing this in a separate post just so I can have at least one unblemished one. :p

Ohhhh Gerbil! New member!
And Gerbil, I am not a giraffe!!
Firelin, I think 12 is the standard age for new GJFers. Most of the newer ones tend to be 12 or so, then grow up on here for the next 1-8 years. I just wonder why so many drift away.
