lol, I'm watching a chemistry lecture on kinetics. The diamond + oxygen ---> carbon dioxide equation is very spontaneous. (dG = -300 something)

Lecturer: But why are diamonds still a good investment?

Because capitalists in South Africa are hoarding them away and not releasing them onto the market. :p Diamonds would be worth nothing if it happened!
