My grandpa graduated from high school in 1943. We all know that was smack dab in the middle of WWII. My grandpa wanted to go fight, so he went to a recruitment office. However, his eyesight was too poor, so they didn't let him join. Had they let him, chances are, he would have gotten KIA (Killed In Action)

buuuttt... My grandfather (other side of the family) was drafted in the Korean War. Thank goodness he survived it, otherwise i wouldn't be here

It is kinda scary/amazing if ya look back, how one little thing could have changed everything.
