I love writing poems! I have a thread of them on BYC somewhere. I sometimes do it just for fun in my spare time.

It's not quite true poetry, no rhyming or anything. Have you ever read/seen The Iliad or Beowulf? Both are epic poems.

We had to research the Iliad in Latin class at my old school. I don't remember much of it, but it was pretty cool.

Our school doesn't offer Latin we had French (the teacher retired, so any students that where left hanging are taking online courses), Spanish, and for some of the younger kids they started Chinese online.

We've got French, German and Chinese at my current school. A total of about twenty people do the second two, everyone else is in French. They have three classes.

I took french the teacher was fun and easy to get off topic and took fun field trips.

There's ten people in my class, we are all pretty close and sometimes spend class debating over current affairs...
