Oh for DRILLING out loud, why do I even bother? I have no idea how I got this BYC Friend award. I was obviously nominated by people who don't actually know me.

My mother is a Christian. I believe most of what she believes (although we do have our debates about certain facts we disagree on, as with anything!) and go to meetings with her, read the churchy stuff. I do not, however, at the moment place religion as a foremost priority of mine right now. I'm not ready to go the full hog and give up my career ambitions, and some of my favourite things I like to do to become a hard-core Christian.

I do find some comfort in some of the messages they have to offer though.

I used to consider myself Christian though, but I changed my mind after I thought it was too hard.

I agree! Whenever I go to my grandma's house (she's a baptist), she has these little quote things that actually provide nice messages and aren't necessarily always god-related.​

A real break, I mean, not the ones where I keep coming back just for one post or to check some thread out.

Although I'd probably leave that until after the Scavenger hunt finished. I really need a GFM for all these PMs...

Just kidding. Look, we've got everybody from atheists to Pagans to Wiccansto Christians... I bet it wouldn't be that weird.
