June sensed not only the hunter, but another sonaper in the trees near her.
Too late to warn him to get away now, she thought.

Her power raced through her veins, every nerve alive and tingling.
She shoved it outwards and heard the hunter go down with a grunt.
Anyone within 100 yards would also be affected, but June couldn't think about that now.

She watched as the hunter curled up going through the first stage. Disbelief.
It quickly progressed to the second, where the hunter tried to escape his hallucinations, still reasoning they weren't real.

Austreus started to remember terrible things that had happened to him, he started to go dizzy and next thing he knew he was on the forest floor feeling sick."oooh what happened?" suddenly the hounds appeared out of nowhere charging down on him.

The second stage quickly progressed to the third, where the victim was in actual pain, even though what was happening was all in their head.

The groans and yells were too much for June to handle. She remembered the past times when she had to protect herself by hurting someone else. It made her feel sick.
So she ran.
Away.
Because the humans truly were right.
She was cursed.
As soon as she was far enough away, her power shut off, and the hunter and the other boy were free from her grasp. There would be effects that lasted for a while. They'd be sore, and absolutely terrified.

But that'dbe almost nothing compared to the guilt she was feeling.

Austreus suddenly woke up, his old body ached with pain. He still couldn't stand up, but he could still see the hunter rolling around on the floor in pain. I need to get out of here before he get's me he thought, he managed to sit up, but he blacked out again because of the pain mentally and physically.

Hazel slowly opened her eyes and a blinding pain shot into her head, she put her hand to her head and groaned silently. Then she remembered the hunter and his hound. The fright of being caught by the hunter jerked her upright. She looked down from her tree and saw the hunter writhing on the ground. She didn't bother to find out what was wrong with him and zoomed away, only stopping when she saw a shimmer of white. She landed and saw a boy lying on the ground, another sonaper. She bent down to feel for a pulse. There. She breathed a sigh of relief and sent a message to Amber, come here, i need help.
She clicked her tongue silently and Moth landed on her shoulder. Then she looked around for other sonapers. She knew she couldn't carry another person by herself.
She didn't want to fly, just in case she missed something, so she ran. She ran as fast as she could until she crashed into a figure. (@Butterscotchbitesfinger , Amity?)
