Tristesse gobbled the fruit up like a hungry chicken. He was starving after all.


Meanwhile:
Rose was inside her shack with Joie, waiting for the hunters to leave to try and find Tristesse. They were surrounded by a swarm of them, like a messed up ritual of some sort. One of the hunters toook out his gun and started shooting at the windows, shattering them.

Clover turned and ran, she was vaugley aware of Ash's feet pounding behind her. A shout. Dust and sand billowed up behind her and the sound of choking reached her ears. suddenly, she was jerked up by her hair and saw about 3 or four hunters around her. Plus the one holding her that would be five. "What should we do with this one?" He shouted over the noise.
Clover noticed Kosega in her cat form, attacking some hunters that were driving her towards the ocean. Harzon was pushing them back in his wind form and Ash was still caught in his cloud of sand and dust.
 
over the shouting and coughing, Clover heard the hunters surrounding her shout ways to kill her, most of them slow and gruesome. Finally, one of the hunters shouted, "Drown her!" this was met with a chorus of agreement. The hunter holding her shouted to the others and they tied her legs and wrists together. Then she felt a heavy weight tied around her ankles. A hunter lifted her up and waded into deep water. He threw her deeper in and she sank to the bottom. She struggled against the ties, but they were tight around her and she couldn't get her head above water. Water rushed into her lungs and black started to fill her vision.
 
Ashling was swimming through the water when she saw Clover fall into the water tied up. She turned to her fellow selkies and barked. They all understood. Together, Ashling and the others grabbed Clover and swam farther and farther down into the sea until they finally came to a large, underwater cave that one of the selkies from long ago had used magic on, giving it oxygen so that the selkies could transform back into their human selves underwater, and for a place that both human and seal could breathe. Ashling gently set Clover on the ground of the cave, and then transformed to her human self. "Clover? Clover! Wake up!" She worked on unbinding Clover as fast as she could

Clover gasped as oxygen filled her lungs and coughed up a mouthful of water.

Kosega whirled around and ran into the water. A bang. She fell to the ground, a bullet wound in her leg seeping blood onto the ground. She tried to change to her human form, but she couldn't gather enough strength. Harzon blew the hunters to the ground and lifted her away.

Ash moved the sand away from himself and into the hunters faces, he pushed them back and looked around for Clover and the others, he spotted a cat floating in the air ( :) ), but he couldn't find Clover. He looked around for Clover. Suddenly, a hunter tackled him and pinned him to the ground. Ash put sand into the hunters lungs and scrambled to his feet.
