[Kale the Quail]

Ashling stared up at the huge bird in utter shock. It seemed to be going straight towards...Lunaka's father.

Lunaka stared up at it as it swooped down towards her unconscious father.

 

[Starburst]

The giant bird swooped down, grabbed Lunaka's father and disappeared. Lunaka's legs crumpled underneath her and she fell to her knees, sobbing.

 

[Starburst]

Ashling ran over to Lunaka and knelt down, sitting there quietly, not knowing what to say

Ash unburied the both of them and squeezed Alana's hand.

Alana shook, trying to control the sobs that screamed to burst from her throat

"hey, it's alright." Ash whispered, trying to hold back a frustrated shout of his own.

 

[Starburst]

"N-no it's not. A big birdy just flew down and took Lunaka's father! He didn't deserve it. And besides, are we next?" Alana cried

 

[Kale the Quail]

"I know, I know," Ash said, he glanced up at the sky, "I'm not sure..."

one moment he was there. The next he wasn't. Lunaka couldn't believe it. She'd failed him. She could have saved him. (oh shoot, I just remembered that he was going to be a seal. oof.)

Ashling looked at Lunaka with concern. "I'm so sorry...maybe we could get him back?"
