The curse— RP

She grabbed his arm “I said, let’s go before they find out I’m gone.” She tugged him away from the town “do you have your pigeon friend?”
Crow checked his shoulder. He only felt Dacaw, who squawked at him irritably. “Wait! She’s still back there!” He turned and dashed back towards the store. He grabbed up Maybelle, who was looking rather ruffled on the ground. Just then, the shopkeeper came out.
“Hey! Did you help that thief escape?!”
“I- uhh-”

Anita saw the shopkeeper and froze, she could turn herself in or yell at him to run but risk him getting caught or she could run and abandon him. She decided the second option, “RUN!” She shrieked

Yeah, that’s a good idea. Crow started running towards Anita. The shopkeeper spotted her.
“Get back here!” He roared, chasing after them.

Rebecca opened her eyes. Quietly slipping through her bedroom door, she started cooking breakfast for the family. As she was stirring a pot of oats, she glanced down at her arms and let out a shriek. Some small feathers were breaking through her skin. Dark feathers that had just appeared out of nowhere. She shook her head. I just woke up. I'm seeing things, she thought. Noticing that they were out of milk, she started out the door, grabbing a sweatshirt to cover her arms as she went

Rebecca noticed two figures running by, one of the shopkeepers in close pursuit. There were also a lot of crows. "Hey! Stop!" Rebecca ran in front of them, causing her to gasp for breath from the effort.
(Who’d she stop? Crow and Anita or the shopkeeper?)
