Amber Young watched as the world lost its colour and she transformed into a blood red dragon. she glanced back at the sleeping forms of her family and the lifted off winding through the branches of the forest. She had once tried to fly to the place above the trees but the air had started to thin before she had even caught a glimpse of the sky beyond the thick canopy.

Anita was sitting in a tree when she saw a dragon curve through the branches “whoa” she shook her head assuming it was one of her dumb illusions playing tricks on her but no, there was actually a dragon who had just flown past.
 
Hazel Young pushed off the branch of an oak and flared out her wings, their silver feathers glinting in the rising sun. She swooped down towards the ground and drew her dagger as she caught sight of a squirrel, she hovered in the air and aimed the dagger at the squirrel. A metallic slice. a squeal. Hazel grabbed the squirrel and put it in her leather pack. She turned around and flew back to her family's house in the treetops. She landed on a branch next to Fen, her little brother who was sleeping with his oak brown wings tucked around him.

Thanks, it took me ages to come up with the idea. I’m very protective over my story ideas so I really don’t like it when people take it and write a book. Particularly when it was my idea to start with. I’m not referring to you guys but I’m just saying it has happened to me in the past

I was wondering what you meant by illusions, but I wasn't sure if that was the same thing as my character. Sure, I'll figure out a different power.

Let's try that again.
Character form:
Name: June King
Age: 16
Power (if they are gifted): June is able to paralyze her enemies by giving them a hallucination of sorts of their worst fears/memories. These hallucinations can cause physical pain, even if it is just a memory.
Description: medium height, with blue eyes, brown hair with gold highlights, always in jeans and a t-shirt
Personality: super quiet. But is willing to step up to the plate when needed. Self sufficient. Becomes a little more open with close friends, but that almost never happens.
Background: she doesn't remember her backstory. All she knows is that she has to stay on the run, and in the shadows.
Family (if any): doesn't remember them.
Any extra details you feel need to be included: she's a ventriloquist. She likes to add her own voice to her enemies' hallucinations without actually being there.

That better?

ETA: Her power allows her to sense anyone within 100 yards. 100 yards is also as far as her power can stretch.
