“Amity.” Came her response. She breathed a sigh allowing herself to relax “I was giving the tree energy, it’s enchanted. I have nursed it since it was a sapling”

“No. It’s the tree I use for protection against the humans” Amity whispered “if I treat it well it will treat me well”
 
"Wow, that's cool, I haven't seen any humans for a long time" he was feeling more cheerful now "have you had breakfast" he asked offering his pheasant, He quickly created a plate out of ice and served it.
