Power (if they are gifted): Is part Selkie, meaning she can transform into a seal and talk to animals. She is extremely fast in the water. She also has a fear of water because her adoptive parents told her it was very dangerous, as they didn't want her to discover her power. However, she hasn't discovered that she can turn into a seal yet, as she's never been to the sea.
Description: Long, black hair with pale skin. Her sea-blue eyes easily stand out, along with her ruby red lips.
Personality: Kind and gentle to those she knows she can trust, but with those she doesn't know, she is fierce and cold.
Background: Ashling was found by a poor villager when he was on a trip to the sea to gather clams for food. He found her on the beach, crying. She was just a baby. The villager took pity of the child and raised her as his own. He and his kind wife eventually discovered her powers when they found her talking to a stray seagull. So did the other villagers. The village burned down the happy family's home, and the villager's wife was only able to take Ashling to the forest before she was killed. Only seven, Ashling learned to live on her own in the wild, but she has never been able to find another soul like her. (*Cough she could find another of the gifted, cough*)
Family (if any): The villager and his wife, both killed
