Ash patted her arm and tried to make out the details of the form in the trees. "there's someone in the trees." he said, "it's alright, stay here alright?" he got up and looked up into the branches of the tree.Alana held onto him gratefully. "Thank you," She whispered
"who's there?" Ash called cautiously, if it was a hunter, they were both doomed.Alana nodded and stared into the water. Please don't let it be a hunter who'll burn both of us, she thought

Crow started and almost fell out of the tree. He had been so focused on thinking about the pros and cons of stealing more clothes that he hadn’t noticed Ash getting closer. He then decided that he wasn’t going to ditch his clothes, not today. He hesitated, then clambered down the tree until he stood on one of its lowest branches. Thankfully, the tree was old, and its branches were thick enough to hold his weight."who's there?" Ash called cautiously, if it was a hunter, they were both doomed.
Ash took a step back, crow? "hi... Crow." he hesitated, taking a protective stance in front of Alana.Crow started and almost fell out of the tree. He tried for a smile. “Hi. I’m Crow.” He said, his voice sounding weird to his ears. He put up one hand in what he thought was a traditional human greeting.
