"oh. yes, thank you." Ash said.
"What happened to her?"
"she disappeared." Ash said quietly.
"Oh. I'm sorry." Alana murmured
Ash never knew what to say to that, so he just nodded.
Alana stared into the water, deep in thought. "If-if I'm going to die, maybe it's best you leave me here. There's no point in keeping me alive."
"I'm not going to let you die." Ash said, "come on. let's go somewhere else." he stood up.
Alana sighed but didn't argue. She knew that she'd die eventually, so why wait? Her life was miserable, anyway. "Where to?" She asked
