Lunaka watched the others leave.
After a few seconds when her father was sure they were out of ear shot, he exploded, "what were you doing, associating with cursed ones?"
"they appeared in the garden." she said. "I didn't ask them to come."
"are you actually cursed?" he asked.
"yes." Lunaka said, she'd thought about it, and knew she was cursed.

Alana frowned. A little harsh, but nothing too concerning so far. She got ready to let Bessie know to go back inside if needed

Crow continued to flit from one tree to the next. Finally, they arrived at the stream where he had met Ash and Alana. He located his tattered clothes and dove into them. He then shapeshifted, untangled himself, and hopped up.
