The curse— RP

The crow cocked her head. “CAW!” HEY BRECAW, THIS HUMAN IS TALKING TO ME!
Another crow seemingly dropped out of the leafy boughs of the tree and landed on the low-hanging branch beside her. “Caw.” You know why?
“CAW.” NOPE.
Yet another crow flew over. “Caaaw!” Probably cuz you’re so dang loud! SHUT UP!
“Caw!” Geez, Dacaw, don’t get your feathers in a bunch-
“Caw!” Guys, the human is talking again!
"Hi. I see there's another one of you." Rebecca smiled warmly, and her smile faded. "If I'm cursed, though....I can't be. My friends and family will hunt me, and kill me if they can. It'll mean that I'm evil. I'm not, I promise. I'll be the type who killed my brother." A tear rolled down her cheek. "If I'm one of them, I'll be hunted like an animal. I'm nice. They can't hunt me. I'm nice..." She repeated. "And the cursed are evil..." She buried her face in her hands. "I'm not cursed, but how do you explain this?" She showed her arms, where the feathers had begun to grow back. "They keep coming back. They keep growing. Then they disappear. One of the cursed showed me a vision. I had big, huge wings. That can't be me, can it? It has to be a lie. It has to be." Rebecca sighed, so confused.

All three crows quieted down and cocked their heads at the same time. They had been around Crow long enough to know when a human was sad and confused.

Lunaka jerked her head up at the sound of a scream (ashling.) and ran into the room, "are you all right?"

The sun was gone. Clover plunged into the waves and worked her way to the top. She was a decent swimmer. She'd had practice.

Ash squinted at the horizon and saw distant splashes.
Clover felt for the bottom and then stood up.

Ashling moaned. "My arm...or what's left of it."
"the doctor fixed it. You should be fine." Lunaka said.

"clover?" Ash said, standing up.
"ash?" Clover said and ran the rest of the way, her hair was longer and flowed behind her.
Ash smiled, "hey."
Clover looked at the rest of them, "you've gathered quite a pack here, care to introduce me to them?"
"I can introduce myself." Squilf smiled, standing up, "I'm Squilf, nice to meet you." She nodded politely and took a step back to let the rest of them introduce themselves.
(I'm bad at reunions...)

"He may have kept me from bleeding to death, but that doesn't stop the pain. When I'm a seal..will I be missing a flipper? It hurts terribly."
(I was actually wondering that.)
"I-I don't know." Lunaka said. "I can get some pain killers. would that help?"

Clover introduced herself and glanced at the trees, "We should get into a tree for the night."
Squilf nodded and quickly climbed up into a tree. Ash lifted Alana into a tree and climbed onto a branch beside Clover.

"No, I don't think so. I think the doctor already gave me something for the pain. It'll be hard to learn how to use only one arm." Ashling sighed. "Where are the others? And who was that girl I saw before blacking out?"

Clover introduced herself and glanced at the trees, "We should get into a tree for the night."

Alana smiled. "I missed you, Clover." She said shyly. "Ash saved my life, by the way."

"That's awfully nice of him." Clover said, "Wouldn't want to come back to a dead Alana."
Ash smiled at Alana and Clover felt a small smile twitching at the corners of her mouth.
Squilf shifted closer to Alana and put a wing over her.

"It was. Where did you go? I thought you fell off the face of the earth like some of the others." Alana said
