"No, I don't think so. I think the doctor already gave me something for the pain. It'll be hard to learn how to use only one arm." Ashling sighed. "Where are the others? And who was that girl I saw before blacking out?"

"They went into the forest." Lunaka told her.

"It was. Where did you go? I thought you fell off the face of the earth like some of the others." Alana said

"no. I'm incapable of falling off the face of the earth." Clover informed her.

"They went into the forest." Lunaka told her.

"Oh, okay. And the girl?" Ashling asked. "Was she the one that took me to the doctor?"

"Oh, okay. Well, that's good. We can't have any more people falling off the face of the earth. Too many people have done that." Alana said solemnly

Crow landed on Anita’s shoulder, trying to convey that he didn’t want her to leave. Also, Maybelle couldn’t fly, so he definitely needed a pigeon transporter...

She smiled at him

"Anyway..." Rebecca smiled at the crows. "It was nice talking to you." She made her way back to the house, the bucket of water sloshing as she went

Crow stared around, and suddenly realized how dark it had gotten. He squinted, thinking. I could probably get to the Family Tree before it gets too dark, but I’m not sure about Anita. He internally sighed. To the hut, then. He flew off her shoulder and started leading the way towards the hut.
