Rebecca called through the bag, "If I'm annoying, then I don't know what this hunter is." she tried to sound brave, but her voice wobbled slightly

Rose stared at the bag. ‘ A feisty one you are. How would you like to be a hunter? I know you are cursed, you can’t hide it from me. You will be happy here, dear.’

"I-I'm not cursed," Rebecca said. In her opinion, it wasn't fair. Why did she have to hide who she was just so she could live? Rose seemed fairly nice, but if she was the leader of the hunters, Rose might just be trying to get Rebecca to admit that she was cursed. Panic and fear gripped her heart.

Rebecca bit her lip. "I-I don't want to be cursed." She admitted. "But...I feel like I'm abandoning my friends back in the forest. They live like that because they're being hunted, they have no choice..."

Rose paused, not wanting to mess with this girl’s emotions yet.
‘ If they were your friends, how did you end up here? They are savage beasts. If they didn’t exist, the gifted ones could live without fear. You will be happy here, and they won’t be dragging you down into their rabbit hole.’
