She stopped. and blinked several times as if she were trying to wake up out of a dream. "What is it Laidan? Did you see something?" Brighid asked in a hushed voice. "Oh, it was nothing..." Laidan lied, resuming her work.

He tossed his head and laughed. He took a few steps forward, he muzzled now visible.

She stopped her work as well, her mesmerising green eyes widenng with shock. "I, I don't know Brighid. I'll be right back...." Said Laidan, tieing her gathering skirt to her belt so the berries wouldn't tumble out. She them began to walk towards the woods, a look of curiousity on her face.

He backed up slightly hesitantly before taking another few steps toward her. He nickered softly
