Laidan did not speak, staring stubbornly into the sky.

The seemingly innocent looking mare pressed her hoof down harder into Laidan's body. "Speak."

Laidan stuck her nose up, closing her eyes in a proud manner. She refused to speak, and give in.

"Fine. You leave me no choice," she huffed, sinking her teeth into Laidan's arm. Though it was not enough to kill her, the pain was agonizing and felt as if her whole limb was being crushed under a large weight, blood slowly trickling down her sleeve.

Laidan uttered a small scream, quickly pressing her sweaty and shaking hand to her mouth. She breathed heavily, looking down at her arm with tear filled eyes.

Laidan slowly turned her head to him, breathing roughly through her nose. She bit her knuckles to keep from crying out in pain; they had begun to bleed. She looked at him with her intense green eyes, begging him to help her.

She licked the blood clean from her lips. "Do not tell if you value your arm."

Laidan pulled her hand away from her mouth, shutting her heavily lidded eyes as she tried to stretch out her fingers. Her breathing was heavy and slow, as if she were trying to calm down her heart rate; yet to no avail. Swallowing hard, she snapped open her eyes and carefully sat up with her good arm.

He watched her hesitantly "I -"

"Answer me when I speak to you!" Briallen hissed, getting ready to sink her teeth back into Laidan's arm.

"Why should I? You have no power over me!" Laidan said, lifting her chin. She pushed her self off of the ground, grabbing at her bleeding arm as soon as she stood upright.
