Dexter had barely any strength left but he managed to grab a knife and went up to the dragon and stabbed it in the back.​

The Dragon threw his head to the side, breaking Stefan's neck. He staggered into the bushes, whipping his tail at Dexter as he went and cracking a rib.

Paige who was hiding in the bushes all along noticed the attack between Dexter, Stefan, and the dragon. She drew out an arrow and aimed at the dragon. She let go and it went right in the dragon's lung. Dexter limped back up and found a spear laying on the ground. He picked it up and hid behind a large tree.

She screamed, got her knife from her boot and jabbed it in the dragon's shoulder. "Give up!" She yelped out.

All at once, the Dragons launched themselves in the sky, leaving the injured Hawk Eyes like prey.

"Let me go!" Dexter shouted out.

Back at The Hawk Eye's camp, Stefan rushed to Paige's side. "Paige! Paige! Wake up!" Ellie rushed to his side.
"What happened!?" She asked.
"One of the dragons... they...." he didn't finish.
"I can go get a healer!" She exclaimed.
"No. It's too late." He whispered.
Paige then spoke softly, "Thanks Stefan for everything." She said while sprawled across the ground. Her heart was failing.
