While lying on the straw for the night and day, McKinnon managed to wriggled his claws into a position where he could cut through the ropes. He burst free with a growl and shredded the rope to shreds.

(He shredded the rope to shreds! D

Suddenly, the door opened a crack and a large piece of raw mutton was thrown in, the door quickly shutting and locking.

Her feline eyes slanted even more. " Fine." she snapped, and leaped into the woods, immediately dissapearing.

She smiled viciously, and waited just to make sure she was completely gone.

At the Dragon's camp, Master Rayne was getting increasingly worried as McKinnon still didn't show. Beside her, Sadon paced in small circles, casting anxious glances towards the sky as though he expected to see McKinnon arriving. "We have to do something" Sadon growled.

Master Rayne nodded "I know, McKinnon is a valuable member of our army, and he hasn't yet had the chance to train an apprentice. We must return him"

"What are your orders?" Sadon asked.

Master Rayne thought for a moment, tapping her claws against the stone floor. "Send in Maverick and Viper" She ordered "They've run this mission before, they'll know what to do"

Sadon nodded "Yes sir" And disappeared into the sky.

"Dragon," said the voice of a woman from the other side of the thick door. "May I ask you your name so I may adress you correctly?"
